GILMAN - As South Hardin walked off the baseball field Thursday evening after a 4-1 loss to East Marshall, no one was heavily down on themselves. They’d achieved a goal they’d set for since the beginning of the season: earning the program’s first NICL West title.
“Our goal was to finish in the top two of the conference,” junior Jaxson Drury said. “We know we’re a young team, but we made this happen with a lot of work in the offseason and talent. We had confidence we could win this conference.”
