I saw a tinge of green yesterday in our backyard. That is very rare in Arizona. Spring is showing up. In Arizona, in the winter, if you want your lawn to remain green, you must plant what is called
"winter grass".
In the midst of winter dormancy and darkness, Spring arrives. Buds are starting to show. What a metaphor exists at Easter time; things we thought were dead, resurrect. The grass we didn't re-seed for the winter comes alive again and cancels out the yellow straw like lawn.
