Funeral services for Lloyd Barhite will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 313 Lee Lane, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at the Linn’s Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Shirley Hilpipre, 80, of Hubbard, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, after a short stay at Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown, Iowa. A public memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, at the Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard. The wearing of masks and the respect of social distancing are encouraged. There will be no interment at this time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salem United Methodist Church. Boeke Funeral Home of Hubbard is in charge of arrangements.

Steven Topp, 62, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, at his home in Radcliffe, Iowa. A flowing visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, at the Boeke Funeral Home in Radcliffe. A public graveside funeral service will be held at Sherman Township Cemetery, rural Hubbard, at 2 p.m. on Oct. 31. Those attending the graveside service are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. The wearing of masks and the respect of social distancing guidelines are encouraged at both functions. Boeke Funeral Home of Radcliffe is in charge of arrangements.

Gerold Hoversten, 79, formerly of Radcliffe, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at the Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard, Iowa. A Family Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williams, Iowa, at 11 a.m. on Oct. 28, 2020. Interment of Gerold's cremated remains will be held at a later date in the Williams’ Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hubbard-Radcliffe Elementary School Nurse Fund. The wearing of masks and the respect of social distancing guidelines are encouraged at both functions. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for the immediate family will be held at Zion United Church of Christ in Hubbard, Iowa at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 23, 2020. Burial will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery. The wearing of masks and respect for social distancing guidelines will be strictly adhered to. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation nor lunch following the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ or Scenic Manor.

Ramona Alice (Lynn) Sherfield

Ramona Alice (Lynn) Sherfield was born an only child of Herb and Cora Lillian (Eggleston) Lynn in Eldora, Iowa, on March 27, 1925. In September 1935, she became a member of the Eldora Methodist Church. Ramona attended school in Eldora, graduating from Eldora High School in 1943. After high school, she was employed by Harrisson’s, Youngerman’s, and Dickson Hardware; all businesses in Eldora.
