ELDORA – Twenty-five years have passed since the movie “Twister” was released on May 10, 1996, becoming the second highest grossing film of that year behind “Independence Day.” East of Eldora, the “Twister House,” as it has been dubbed by locals, sits – not a ramshackle mess, like the movie made it seem – but intact and nearing the end of a 10+ year restoration project by its current owners, who wish to go by “John” and “Jane” for this article.
