German Heritage

    WELLSBURG – An exhibit and accompanying events tracing the German immigration to Iowa and subsequent German influence on the state’s culture is coming to Wellsburg, and Eldora this summer and made a stop earlier in Ackley.
    It comes to  Eldora and the public library May 24 through June 5, and Wellsburg  and the community’s Ostfriesland Heritage Society August 9 through 21. (Read the rest in the Friday Index)
