Lester W. Fetters

Lester W. Fetters, 68, of Eldora passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at UnityPoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Lester was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, one of eight children, and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1970.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Luella Liska and his father Francis Fetters, twin sister Esther Fetters, who died at age 7, also brothers David Leroy Fetters, Travis Lee Fetters and Charles Henry Fetters. He is survived by brothers Larry Gene Fetters, Frances Dean Fetters, Ronald Fetters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lester and his twin sister were inseparable and he also loved hanging out with his brothers.

Lester’s companion for over 20 years was Marlene Kastner, and they shared a home at Pinecrest Mobile Home Park. Lester was an enthusiastic and active member of the Men’s Bible Study at the Little Rock Ministries trailer.

Lester was a friendly, helpful guy around the trailer park and he will be greatly missed by all his friends.
