Donavon Joseph Keniry, age 65, passed away while surrounded by family and friends

On Aug. 19, 2021, in Eldora, Iowa. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family.

Donavon was born on April 7, 1956, in Hampton, Iowa, to Leo Keniry and Ella Marie Redding.

He graduated and lived in Eldora, Iowa. Family and friends lovingly describe Donavon as a sentimental street hustler and hysterical comedian. Anyone who knew Donavon embraced him as the exceptionally fun loving, fuzzy headed Irish entrepreneur.

Donavon is survived by his daughters Sarah Starr Sparks, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Ella Pratt (Brandon) of West Gardiner, Maine, five grandchildren, sisters Marlen Kolthoff (Jim) of Ackley, Iowa, Joan Gerhke (Larry) of Tolar, Texas, Delores Larson of Granbury, Texas and Carolyn Sadlowski (Larry) of Granbury, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother Ella Keniry, his father Leo Keniry, and brothers Roger and Michael Keniry.

The family will be honoring Donavon with a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
