Hardin County is reporting 67 total COVID-19 positive cases today, Wednesday, July 1.

Total Positive Cases: 67

Total Recovered: 34

Total Deaths: 0

Total Tested: 1,734

The Iowa Department of Public Health’s website currently shows 63 positives, however Hardin County has confirmed 67 positives in the county. The IDPH website will catch up as we are working with the State to get this resolved. We continue to provide guidance and support to COVID-19 positive individuals, families, and places of business.

Hardin County Public Health continues to remind residents to stay home when sick or not feeling well, to wash hands, to wear a mask when social distancing isn’t possible, and especially this upcoming holiday weekend to keep your group gatherings small and outdoors. If you must gather in a large group, consider limiting the time you are among the group as the more people you interact with, the higher potential risk of becoming infected with COVID-19.
