Tigers no-match for Cadets

IOWA FALLS- The long campaign came to a close for the South Hardin girls’ basketball team here Saturday.

Eighth-ranked Iowa Falls-Alden trounced the Tigers, 79-16 in a Class 3A regional quarterfinal game.

The loss ended a trying season for South Hardin, going 1-19 in wins and losses.

The Cadets had a hot-hand on the home court, piling up 24 first quarter points and another 22 in the second, while booking 29 field goals and 15 of those were three-point goals.
