Tigers' 4x4 breaks school record at Norsemen Relays

STORY CITY - The South Hardin girls' track & field team saved the best for last at the Norsemen Relays here Thursday.

A school record run in the meet's final event - the 4x400 relay - highlighted the Tigers' showing. The foursome of Claire Damon, Miquela Teske, Laura Campbell and Sarah Boomgarden ran the four lap race in 4:23.22 and won the event in a photo finish over Ballard at 4:23.34. South Hardin's effort broke the old mark from 2009 at 4:27.
