South Hardin, BCLUW at Cadet Relays

IOWA FALLS- Season openers produced middle-of-the-pack placings for the South Hardin and AGWSR boys’ track & field teams at the Cadet Relays here Tuesday.

South Hardin gathered 59.5 points for sixth in the 12-team field and AGWSR scored 48 for seventh.

Both teams claimed one gold medal in the 19 events. The Tigers’ Zakee Newman was a 20-second winner in the 3200 meter run, bettering the cast of 14-runners in 10:37, while the Cougars’ Alec Stahl was also a run-away winner in the 800 meters by over six-seconds in 2:07.12.
