Ruth Bleeker, 87

Ruth Bleeker, 87, of Steamboat Rock, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Abels Funeral & Cremation Service-Creps Chapel in Eldora and from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Steamboat Rock Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Harrison Lippert officiating. Burial will follow at the Steamboat Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family for donation to the Steamboat Rock Baptist Church and the Steamboat Rock Fire & Rescue Squad
