No. 8 AGWSR softball tops No. 12 Newman

MASON CITY- A hard-fought victory and lopsided win were registered by the AGWSR softball team here Tuesday.

The eighth-ranked in Class 1A Cougars first edged host and No. 12 Mason City Newman, 5-1 and then buried Belmond-Klemme, 17-0 in three-innings.
