New state rule requires seatbelts on school buses

AREA - The Iowa State Board of Education has adopted new administrative rules that will require shoulder-to-lap seatbelts on all new school buses bought by school districts and state-accredited nonpublic schools.

“We do have a regular rotation for the purchase of new school buses,” says South Hardin Schools’ Superintendent, Adam Zellmer.
