New Hardware

The Hardware on the Square is now a Wilkerson family project.

Until just a few days ago, it was Clemons Hardware, and now it’s reopened under the ownership of a Conrad family who have a couple of decades experience in the business.

Counting the Eldora store, they now have four outlets here in central Iowa.

Eric Wilkerson will often be seen running the shop here in Eldora, but he says his dad Tom Wilkerson is the owner and will be a regular presence. So will mom Julie on select days of the week.

The store will be open from 7:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Fridays, then from 8 to 2 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
