New economic development director

HARDIN COUNTY – Angela Di La Riva is first and foremost the new director of economic development for the city of Ackley, but she says the understanding upon hire was that she and the development department in Iowa Falls would try to extend their services elsewhere into the county, too.

That’s been a subject, on and off, before the board of supervisors in recent months. They have the county seat town without a director of economic development and several other small communities in the south of the county, likewise. So,  the county’s pressed the developers who are on the job in Iowa Falls and Ackley to try and cast a wider net.(Read it all in the Friday Index)
