More hog debate

ELDORA- It was bound to happen eventually.

Opposing forces collided at the Hardin County Courthouse on Wednesday morning as members of Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement, the state’s foremost environmental activist organization, scolded representatives from Iowa Select Farms, its largest pork producer, over the company’s plans to add a hog site just 1,600 feet from the home located southeast of Eldora and made famous in the 1996 film “Twister.”(Read the rest in the Friday Index)
