Long time Eldora attorney edges toward retirement

There is a changing of the guard in the Eldora legal community.

This week, Marshalltown attorney Gail Boliver said he would be associating with long- time Eldora attorney Jim Sween in the Sween Law Office site south of the courthouse.

They both said the move is an ‘association’ between the two firms that also marks another phase in the gradual retirement for Sween. He has been in the legal profession here for close to fifty years, but less active in the last couple.

Meanwhile, Boliver’s firm, which also has offices in Marshalltown, Grinnell and Omaha, will be sending attorneys here a couple of days each week.
