Jumping into a rabbit hole

I saw a white rabbit on the doorbell camera. Granted it was at dusk and everything is fuzzy right before the camera changes to night mode, but it was a rabbit, and as far as I could tell, it was white. Best part was, I had proof. Except after showing the playback to others, the obvious white color was in question. Maybe the camera was playing tricks, maybe the fading daylight made it appear that color. Maybe people should just believe that there was a white rabbit in the yard. Sheesh!

So a week or two later we were watching TV, and I casually looked out the window and lo and behold, the white rabbit had returned. I excitedly pointed it out to my partner, and he saw it, too, but thought it was more on the cream side. I say it was more white than cream. It apparently must have made its home somewhere close by.
