Soybean fields in Hardin County are just beginning to change color this week—urging Iowa farmers to start preparing for harvest.

AREA – As summer temperatures are coming to an end, the crops begin to gain more attention from those in Hardin County.

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig says that, “With four percent of the corn and 15 percent of the soybeans nearing maturity, farmers are starting to prepare equipment for harvest.”
