Farm Museum launches a new season
This should make it feel a little more like spring.
The Hardin County Farm Museum has released its 2018 summer schedule of events. Things start in just a few days, if you want to help with the annual spring-cleaning, which is set for March 18 starting at 1 p.m.
Then on Saturdays, April 7, May 5, June 2 and July 7 come out for the pancake breakfasts running from 7 to 9:30 a.m.
Saturday the 28th of July is the annual threshing day held in conjunction with the Pine Lake Eldora City Festival. Again there is breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. and a box lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with threshing demonstrations to start at 10 a.m. and run till done. Other activities will run 9:30 to 2 p.m.
