Eldora City Bowling Tourney

ELDORA- Jacob Christensen of Ackley, Taber Brinkmeyer of Steamboat Rock and the pair of Josh Harrell and Glen Carpenter of Eldora captured titles during the Eldora City Bowling Tournament recently.

Christensen was crowned the All-Events champion, Brinkmeyer bettered the Singles field, and Harrell and Carpenter finished first in Doubles.

 Christensen collected three top five placings highlighted by the All-Events. He topped the field by 78-pins, posting a 2,372 handicap score. Christensen also took third in singles and fourth in doubles with Terven Drake.

Dennis Dickenson was the All-Events runner-up at 2,294 followed by Brinkmeyer at 2,284, Harrell 2,265 and Shawn Bolt at 2,247 in the top five.
