Drake: Boomgarden finished 4th in High Jump

DES MOINES - South Hardin senior standout Sarah Boomgarden continued the area's stellar showings, finishing fourth in the girls' high school high jump Friday morning.

Boomgarden was one of four jumpers to end at 5-4 and took fourth on misses. She cleared the opening height of 5-foot on her first jump, missed twice at 5-2 before making it on the third try, and cleared 5-4 on her second shot.
