Courthouse Security takes the spotlight

HARDIN COUNTY – Last week Hardin County Supervisors juggled questions about the sheriff’s department move to add a security person at the new single point of entry to the Hardin County Courthouse.

Then, just the very next day, news out of Waterloo likely gave the board some satisfaction.

A couple of constituents had questioned the impact on the sheriff’s department budget and questioned the need for an in person security detail at all. A day later, the supervisors got a nod from the Black Hawk County Attorney’s office.
