Cougars tumble to West Fork

REINBECK- A strong push into halftime propelled West Fork over the AGWSR boys’ basketball team, 64-46 during a Class 1A district semi-final contest here Tuesday.

The Warhawks closed the second quarter on a 12-3 run and turned a competitive three-point contest into a comfortable 33-21 halftime advantage.

West Fork stretched the 21-18 lead to eight with a Lukas Wogen basket and Kayden Ames three-pointer. After a three-ball by AGWSR’s Alex Hames, the Warhawks tallied the final seven of the opening 16-minutes with Wogen and Jesse Chibambo buckets around another Ames’ triple.
