DES MOINES - Cheerleading has always been in BCLUW senior Shelby Trinkle’s blood: her older sister Morgan and her mother Kelly, who is the cheerleading and dance coach at BCLUW High School, instilled a passion for the sport in Shelby beginning when she was a youngster. Recently, she gave her final performance in a BCLUW uniform as a member of the Iowa Cheerleading Coaches Association (ICCA) all-state squad and received a pair of scholarships recognizing her excellence throughout her high school years with the Comets.
