Beare retires from New Providence town council after over 40 years

NEW PROVIDENCE – When Terry Beare came back from the service, he took a cue from his wife who’d just been hired by Quakerdale Children’s Home as its first ever social worker, and he applied for something similar with the State Training School in Eldora.

He got the job, and as would be characteristic, he stayed and stayed.
