BCLUW track competes at ISU Indoor

AMES- A first place finish was posted by BCLUW’s Jack Garber in the 60-meter hurdles at the Iowa State High School Indoor Track & Field Meet here Tuesday.

Garber bettered a field of 95 hurdlers for the gold with a swift clocking of 8.21-seconds. Second at 8.44-seconds was Jace Christensen of Southeast Polk. Garber also won the 60-hurdles at the UNI Dickinson Relays two weeks ago.

Caleb Silver also had a stellar showing with two top 20 placings in the distance runs, setting new personal bests in both. He placed 15th in the 3200 meters at 10:18.94 and 17th in the 1600 open at 4:49.94. The fields had 91 runners in the 3200 and 103 in the 1600.
