BCLUW golfers sharp in opener

CONRAD- Meet medalists Lane Stanley and Lauren Anderson propelled the BCLUW golf team to season-opening triangular titles Thursday.

Both medalists looked in mid-season form as Stanley carded a three-over par 38 at the Oakwood Golf Course in Conrad, and at the South Hardin Rec Golf Course in Union, Anderson bagged a 43.

Team totals were also impressive for both Comet clubs. The BCLUW boys booked a 168 followed by North Tama at 192 and Baxter 244. The girls cracked 200, scoring a 196 with North Tama 240 and Baxter no team score with three gals.
