Air attack for Tigers

ELDORA- The combination of quarterback Dalton Lake and receiver Tyrell Todd were unstoppable for the South Hardin football team here Friday.

Lake and Todd connected on five touchdowns to carry the Tigers over East Marshall, 38-14 during a Class 1A, District 6 contest.

The scoring strikes started with a 41-yard pass play in the first minute of the second quarter and opened South Hardin a 13-0 lead. The second score four-minutes later was a 91-yard pass and run after a Mustang punt had the hosts pinned inside their own 10-yard line and opened a 20-0 halftime cushion. Todd was spotted behind the EM secondary for a 20-yard catch and had only open gridiron to the end zone.

Lake and Todd hit on a 23-yard touchdown toss on fourth down in the third quarter, and combined for six-pointers from 27 and eight-yards in the fourth.
