Hayley Jo Trout Sizemore, 59, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, following a heart attack at home. No services are planned at this time. Hayley attended Eldora school. She married Rob Sizemore Sept. 18, 1981 in Missouri. They always made Eldora their home. Together they delivered the Marshalltown Newspaper for 24 years.

Junice Munson, age 86, of Eldora, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Eldora Specialty Care. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Boeke Funeral Homes in Hubbard, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora, Iowa. Burial will take place in the East Lawn Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be directed to Dorothy Senior Center in Eldora. The Boeke Funeral Home of Hubbard is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Howard Kramer (Joe/Jodee) passed away at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Del. on April 16, 2023. He was born in Eldora, Iowa, March 6, 1947, to the late Joseph Harold Megan Kramer and Ann Calfee Kramer.

Anne Lindsey Wiesner, age 100, passed away at the Eldora Care Center on April 18, 2023. Anne was born at home during a blizzard on Jan. 31, 1923, to Cecil (Lindsey) and Luther R. Wilson in Chisholm, Minn. Anne attended the Chisholm school system and went on to graduate from the University of Iowa in June 1946. During Anne’s youth she enjoyed ice-skating, skiing, swimming and beating the boys at the July 4 bicycle races. In adulthood she continued athletic activities and listened to classical music and read her Louie L More westerns.

Betty Haywood, age 89, of Story City, Iowa, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m., Sunday, April 23, at the Honey Creek New Providence Friends Church in New Providence, Iowa. Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery on Monday morning. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the Honey Creek New Providence Friends Church in New Providence. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. and proceed to Rough Woods Cemetery where Frances will be placed with her husband Dale.
