Zoe Rierson was born one week before WWI ended in 1918, and she has taken all the world changes in her lifetime right in stride. The 103-year-old is still going strong and brightening up Hubbard Care Center, which she currently calls home. Rierson’s first name is Virginia, but she has always gone by her middle name, Zoe. She is one lady who knows how to work hard. She was born and raised on a farm by Ellsworth, IA, where she went to school. Growing up she could harness a horse, and she was responsible for feeding pigs and cattle and milking the cows.
