The county has been looking for a new CPA to do it’s annual auditing. Actually, it has been brought up to change companies each year for the last few years. This year, with the current company closing, they decided to send out letters of inquiry.
So, they sent out 15 letters. In response, they got 14 ‘no’ answers and 1 response saying basically if you can’t find anyone else. Of course, the Board of Supervisors will be going with that one.
