AMES - South Hardin’s Traven Wheeler knew it was a good day when he cleared his previous personal best with ease.
During the Dickinson Relays at the University of Northern Iowa, the junior competed in his high jump competition of the season and came out with a new personal best (and new school record) of 6 feet 7 inches to automatically qualify for the Drake Relays for the second consecutive season.
