Trail project on track

ELDORA – At the weekly Hardin County Supervisors meeting Nov. 10, Chris Wieting with the former Iowa River Trail Project – now newly named The River’s Edge Trail – gave an update on two agreements, which were submitted under the old name of Iowa River Trail. The 35-mile trail will connect Steamboat Rock with Marshalltown when completed.

“(These) agreements are continuation agreements,” Wieting said. “No major changes from what we’ve done in the past, but since these are 2018-2019 grants, they’re the continuation that the project is moving along according to plan and scope.”
