City council members and property owners impacted by a major reconstruction of 11th Avenue running from St. Paul Lutheran Church (Washington Street) to the Hardin County Fairgrounds were taken for a ride last week. The community tram was employed to inventory the several-block-long stretch of road. The city is planning to float bonds to the tune of $1,800,000 and take advantage of some federal infrastructure assistance to complete the project, should it get final approval.
