“Some of us boys never grow up. Some of us grew up playing with tractors. The lucky ones still do,” read a sign on the front of a tractor at the 18th Annual Greenbelt Tractorcade on Aug. 13. This saying rings true for many guys and gals alike, of whom about 50 showed up at the Hardin County Farm Museum for the popular 40-mile ride. Tractor enthusiasts came from near and far. Eldora, Webster City, Marshalltown, Ackley, Wellsburg, Albion, Hubbard, Buckeye, New Providence, and even Fremont, Nebraska were some of the many towns represented at the event.
