HUMBOLDT - South Hardin volleyball started the 2021 season with wins in all six of the Tigers’ matches at a Humboldt tournament on Saturday.
The Tigers, ranked sixth in Class 2A to start the season, defeated seventh-ranked Carroll Kuemper in three sets in the marquee matchup of the day, with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 15-11.
Ellie Anderson landed 12 kills to lead the South Hardin attack, with Rylee Nelson adding seven kills. Emma Salvo distributed 29 assists to her teammates. Jaidyn Teske paced the defensive effort with 28 digs and Macy Engelson contributed 11 digs.
