GRUNDY CENTER - South Hardin cross country made the trip over to neighboring Grundy Center for the Sam Iverson Invitational on Thursday, the boys placing ninth and the girls with three runners finishing.
The boys were led by junior Gavin Runyon placing 33rd with a time of 19:49, followed by sophomore Collin Burk in 45th with a time of 20:20, junior Hayden Starr 52nd with a time of 20:43, freshman Jonah VanderWilt 58th with a time of 21:04 and freshman Viet Nguyen 81st with a time of 22:49.
