CLARION – By way of scrappy play and scoring off of turnovers, the South Hardin Tigers (1-0) left Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (1-1) with their first win of the season. It was also their first game, while the Cowboys had played the night prior, and won. The Tigers fell behind in the first half but made a charge early in the second, before withstanding a run by the Cowboys. The defense, in addition to free throws, sealed the game in the final minute for a 54-48 win on December 1.
