A simple switch in the outfield may have made a world of difference for South Hardin softball.
Eighth grader Ayda Eller initially started the 2023 season at right field, but faced a specific issue in certain balls coming off senior pitcher Hailey Rosonke’s pitches “hooking over” to right and giving #10 a little trouble. Eventually, the decision was made to put sophomore Alli Sheldahl, who played the position last season, back in right and move Eller to centerfield. The result: more catches and confidence for Eller.
