ELDORA - The offense was purring for South Hardin girls basketball in a 72-39 rout over visiting Oelwein on Tuesday for their first victory of the 2024-25 season.
Senior Alli Sheldahl had the hot hand to start this cross divisional matchup, scoring 11 points in the opening quarter. There were plenty of shots to go around as senior Ava Salvo knocked down some free throws and an and-one early. Junior Cleo Oban scored three buckets and a foul for seven points in the quarter, pushing the Tigers up 26-8.
