ELDORA - A flat start for South Hardin baseball likely doom the Tigers to their lone loss of the past week, falling to Dike-New Hartford 13-7 as the Wolverines enjoyed a start quite opposite of their hosts.
A five-run second inning, fueled by two RBIs, put the Wolverines up early. Eighth grader Josh Spindler gave up a three-run homerun in the top of the fourth, but was also the pitcher that got the Tigers out to the second inning without further damage.
