Tigers have high hopes for state return

John Teske doesn’t know if South Hardin volleyball has enough established history to expect to make it back to the state tournament.

“It’s not so much expectations, just big hopes,” said Teske, the Tigers’ co-head coach along with Suzy Teske.

The Tigers return six of the eight players that took the floor at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse last November, and with a couple talented freshmen slotting in as needed, another small but mighty group takes aim at trying to be one of the eight teams making the trip to Cedar Rapids.
