ELDORA - 2A sixth-ranked South Hardin volleyball faced the gauntlet that is the NICL in its fourth annual conference tournament on Tuesday and Thursday, emerging in sixth place out of 15 teams.
South Hardin hosted one of four sites for the first day of the tournament after winning the NICL West division this season. The Tigers opened beating Oelwein 25-7, 25-9 behind eight kills from sophomore Emma Minteer and three aces from senior Ava Salvo.
