GRUNDY CENTER - AGWSR and South Hardin laced up their track shoes for the 2024 NICL Mega Meet on Monday, with both schools coming away with conference titles and other strong events.
The Cougar girls placed sixth with a team score of 57. Their distance medley relay of Trevyn Smith, Elise Olson, Piper Smith and Karis Lippert were conference champions with a time of 4:25.87, a season best by a second. Senior Abby Veld swept the discus with a best throw of 126 feet and shot put with a best throw of 39 feet and 10 inches.
