GRUNDY CENTER – South Hardin and BCLUW’s cross country teams were part of the competition at Thursday’s Sam Iverson Invitational at Town & Country Golf Course in Grundy Center.
The BCLUW boys had the best finish of the area teams, placing seventh with 232 points. Charles City won the team title with 49 points, followed by Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck with 65.
Cayden White led the Comets in 39th in 19:26. Cayden McLeland was 42nd in 19:38, Lincoln Stover 46th in 20:00, Carter Kemp 49th in 20:08 and Dane Petty 56th in 20:37.
