Tigers come up short at Hawks 20-14 to open season

JEWELL - South Hardin football kicked off its 2023 campaign on the road at South Hamilton, competing close with their neighbors to the west but ultimately falling to the Hawks 20-14. 

“A lot of people recognize [South Hamilton] has a good team this season and they looked the part on Friday night,” coach Nick Eller said. “I was impressed with how they played, but really proud of our guys and how they played one of our hardest, most physical games we’ve played in a long time.”
