GRUNDY CENTER - A competitive first half for South Hardin boys basketball abruptly morphed into a second half collapse against Grundy Center 65-52 on Friday in a NICL West showdown.
The Tigers kept right on the tails of the Spartans through the first half, answering each Grundy Center bucket with one of their own. Before the halftime buzzer, South Hardin got a shot to fall from junior Izaak Hollingsworth for a 25-24 lead.
