PARKERSBURG – South Hardin lost a hard-fought match with Union but rallied to beat Aplington-Parkersburg in an NICL triangular at A-P High School on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The Tigers fell to the Knights, ranked third in Class 3A, 26-24, 25-22. They lost the first set against the Falcons but came back to win 20-25, 25-15, 15-7.
Ellie Anderson had nine kills and 12 digs in the win against A-P. Ava Salvo added 14 assists, 10 digs and two ace serves on 10-of-13 serving. Ava Paige had eight kills, eight assists and three ace serves on 13-of-13 serving.
